Martha Neuharth, Huron Martha Neuharth, 89, Huron, formerly of Alpena, died Thursday, Oct. 28th, 1999, at Huron Nursing Home. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Huron, with the Rev. Mark Gustafson officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 9 pm today and Sunday until noon at Welter Funeral Home, Huron. Visitation will continue prior to the service at the church. She was born on May 14, 1910, at Leola, to Peter and Katharina (Schauer) Kammer. She moved with her family to the Alpena area and attended rural grade schools in Beadle County. She married Herbert Newharth on June 7, 1931 at Alpena. They lived on a farm near Alpena until they moved to Sunquest Village in 1998. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ, Huron. She is survivied by one half brother, Leo Koerner and wife Verna, Alpena; one half sister, Alvera Ferguson, Huron; one stepsister, Anna Walker, Wessington Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on Sept. 2, 1999; her parents; one brother, John Kammer; two half brothers; Harold and Leo Koerner; four stepsisters; Rose Rohrer, Emma Schmidt, Martha Broer and Marie Guthmiller; four stepbrothers; Ed, Albert, Robert and Herbert Koerner, and a nephew.
