 PAUL F. DOUBLE, 90, of Ossian, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014. He was born April 3, 1924 in Fort Wayne a son of the late Kenneth and Ida May (Springer) Double. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He worked in tool and die. Later in life, he and his wife, Mary Jane, owned and operated Lighted Acres for 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of Hope Missionary Church and was a past president of Indiana Committee to Restore the Constitution.
 
 "Paul loved and lived for his Savior Jesus Christ, his family, and his country."
 
 Surviving are his wife, Mary Jane, who he had been happily married to for 68 years; children, Linda Schorr, Shirley (Doug) Hillman, Susan Duncan, Steven (Carla) Double; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Eugene, Raymond, and Richard.
 
 Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at Hope Missionary Church, 429 East Dustman Road, Bluffton with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, May 5, 2014 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 120 West Mill St., Ossian. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian.
