He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Catherine Alvis, children, Mark, Debbie and Keith and their families, and his sister Virginia Wyatt and family. He was preceded in death by his son John Alvis. A mass will be said in his honor at Sts. Simon & Jude Catholic Church. Per his wishes, no service will be held.
