(11 mos.). Adjacent farms in the census belonged to William Weekly and William Moore. In 1900, 51 year old farmer Lewis Rupple lived on a farm that he owned in Enoch Twp. with his 48 year old wife Louisa and their four youngest children: Barbara (16), Tilda (14), William (12) and Andrew (6). The older three children attended school for four or five months that year. Lewis Rupple was able to read and write. Louis Rupple's obituary appeared in The Caldwell Press on 22 Dec 1915: LOUIE RUPPLE DEAD Louis Rupple, prominent farmer of Enoch township dropped dead Thursday morning while sitting at home chatting with friends. Other marriages:Lohrey, John In 1870, Mary Lori (31) lived on a farm in Enoch Twp., Noble County, Ohio with children John J. (13), Henry John (12), George (10), and Joseph (8). The three oldest boys attended school. Mary, who was born in Virginia, could not read or write. Also living in the house was Mary's mother, Mary Schoup (69). Adjacent farms in the census were those of Joseph Hohman an d Michael ("John") Blake. Joseph Hohman's wife died in 1873, and Mary Schaub Lori married him four years later. Records conflict on place of birth: In the 1870 and 1880 census, Mary's birthplace is listed as (West) Virginia. According to the 1900 census, Mary Schaub Hohman was born in May 1840 in Germany. She came to America in 1848, when she was about eight years old. This conflicts with Dale Schott's book, which state that Mary's parents arrived in America in July 1838. "St. Mary's -- 150 Years -- Fulda, OH", states that she was born in 1838.The 1900 census also states that Mary had no children. (There is a 0 in the column for "Mother of how many children?") | 4830 | BIOGRAPHY: WILLIAMS, Mabel PRITCHARD 1887 - 1962 Mrs. Clyde Williams - Former Deepwaterite - Funeral services for Mrs. Clyde Williams, 74, St. Louis, formerly of Deepwater, who died Jan. 7 after a long illness, were held on Wednesday, Jan. 10, at West Florissant Baptist Church, St. Louis, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery there. Mabel Pritchard, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Pritchard, was born March 2, 1887, at Deepwater, Mo. On Jan. 17, 1905, she married Clyde Williams, who died about two years ago. To this union were born 11 children, six of whom survive. Mrs. Williams lived in the vicinity of Deepwater until 1927, then moved to St. Louis where she lived the remainder of her life. She was baptized and united with the Golden Gate Baptist Church in 1908. Later, in 1927, she transferred her membership to the West Florissant Baptist Church in St. Louis. Mrs. Williams is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Elsie Parker, Mrs. Merle McCormick, St. Louis, Mrs. Avis Stopke, West Palm Beach, Fla., Mrs. Betty Bakula, Denver, Colo.; two sons, Raymond Williams, Clyde Williams, St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. Maud Stamer, Mrs. Eva Hunt, St. Louis; a brother, George Warren Pritchard, Orlando, Fla.; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. | Pritchard, Luther Martin (I51893)
