25740 | Submitter: Gina Langner Subject: BISSLER FAMILY OF OHIO Message: Claudia, I am very interested any information you find regarding the Bissler's. I am researching the ancstry of the Bissler family from Portage County, Ohio. My grandmother was Birdell Elizabeth Bissler (1911-1994). Her father's name was Henry Martin Bissler (1887-1963) His father's name was Domnick a.k.a. Dominic Bissler (1853-?) I am wondering my g-grandfather's middle name "Martin" was named after the Martin Bissler in your tree. I did find a biography on the Ohio Gen Exchange Bio-Bin website that mentions the original Bissler family from Germany who settled in Ohio. One of their sons was named Martin Bissler, who died in 1885. Could this be the Martin Bissler you mentioned? Let me know if there are any connections. Gina | Bissler, Dominick (I10255)
