| 14980 | Die Familien von Birkenhördt, Böllenborn, Blankenborn und Reisdorf 1800-1875 von Andreas Drieß Band 2, Seite 49, 50, 51,133 This information was taken from http://familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/e/i/s/Darrell-G-Eisenhauer/GENE1-0001.html?Welcome=1063215110 I believe some of the relatives of Margaretha came from St. Clair county as there is an Eva Mariam Millicker who married Wilhelmum Oberhofer, Oct 28, 1869 at Sacred Heart, DuQuoin. I have not found any evidence of George Jacob or Margaretha's parents in the US. In her letter of 1988, Rita Stephens, descendant of Andrew Eisenhauer, his son Fredrick Henry and F. H.' s daughter Elizabeth, who married Noah Stephens, Margaret's last name was Muelbreaker. In the German records, collected by the Mormans, the last name of Margaretha is spelled Milecker, Muellecker, and Mileker. EISENHUER:From the 1840's to the 1880's, 4 million germans came to America to escape depression, political unrest and unemployment. 1993, I know nothing yet about this man except his name. He was in the Sacred Heart death/funeral book as the father of George Jacob, I have collected a bit of information which I'll include here. The 1741 immigrant ancestor of Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower through Peter. Another record states, Peter Eisenhauer, born in Germany 1716, came to America about 1751. Hd a son Frederich, who had son jacob Frederich, who had son David Jacob, who had son David Dwight. This was taken from Taylor-Richardson, F. B. Eisenhower Lineage & References. 1956. According to what I have read, Dwight's family changed the spelling of their last name to an Americanized spelling about World War time, due to the antagonism toward Germans. Eisenhauers had come to America since quite early and they can be found many places. Per Ron Flauaus, Mechanicsburg, Pa. phone call of Mar 7 1992 ( he had wanted information on Henry Horn, who married Mary Flauaus, Henry was a catholic, banker and businessman of early DuQuoin) Ron told me that Mary was the daughter of Yohan Flauaus who is buried inAshlye, Il cemetery, Yohna's father was born 1762 in Lomperthein, Germany. I don't believe there's any connection. Time will possibly tell, Nov 1994. I know much more now. Joseph E. Eisenhauer was located in the state of Bayern, County of Pfalz, town of Birkenhoerdt, and a Roman Catholic, father of ten children, who were born between 1819 and 1841. Who knows, I may even find out much more inthe Mormon records. As of now, I believe he had a brother John, married to Catharinae Engel, who was in the same location, having children 1828 to 1847. Our Joseph named a son John in 1826. Our Joseph named son Balthassar in 1824 and the presumed brother named a son the same unusual name in 1830.
