    Hi Michelle, boy I sure hope that we are related in some way. Especially if you have that much info. Near as I can tell all of my relatives are all Catholic, myself included. Martin married Maria Misser in 1873 in Seneca County. He was born in 1846 and died in 1901. His wife was born in 1851 and died in 1933 in Milan, Ohio. They had 8 children. I don't have all of the kids names, but the ones I do have are Anthony; Leo; John; Rupert and Alfred, my grandfather. According to the death certificate, Martin was born in Germany. His name is spelled wrong on the certificate. It is spelled Firestine. It was listed the same way in the 1880 census. He died of heart disease according to probate court records. Anthony was married to Edna (?maiden name) and they had 1 son named Harry, I think. Edna and Harry died in Huron, Ohio. Edna in 1977 and Harry in 1986. This is about all I know.     Just found your Feuerstein messages. My grandmother was Mary Feuerstein b1882 Haguenau Alsace FR and moved to Cincinnati OH 1900. Her parents were Georges Feuerstein b1859 Brumath Alsace FR and Maria Messer. Georges' father was Sabastien b1828 Gossersweiler Pfalz Bayern GE and his father was Joseph Feuerstein b ca1800 Gossersweiler. You indicated yours were probably born in Germany but that border area moved back and forth between FR and GE many times. My Feuerstein's were all Catholic. I find the name spelled various ways. Siblings of Sabastien were Magdalena, Thomas, Elizabetha, Michael, Johannes and Barbara. Any connections that you can see with yours?
