    Peter Weisend [Parents ] 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 was born on 11 Sep 1855 in Ohio. He died on 18 May 1906 in Monroe Co., OH. He married Mary Ann Burkhart on 4 Feb 1879.
    At the time of the 1880 census, 24 year old farmer Peter Weisend lived in Seneca Twp., Monroe County, Ohio with his wife Mary (20) and daughter Hanna F. (6 months). The lived next to the family of John Kuhn, who might have been Mary's uncle. (This has not been proven.)
    In 1900, Peter Weisend (40) owned a farm in Seneca Twp. with his wife of 21 years, Mary A. (40). All eight of their surviving children lived with them: Philomena (20), Celia (19), Catherine (14), Nicholas (10), Barbara (8), Anthony (6), George (3), and Frank (1).
