    Notes:

BIOGRAPHY: Found an article today that I believe I haven't seen before about the death of my birth mother. She would have been 91 years old today.

BIOGRAPHY: In the article, it says that a Missouri Pacific passenger train was westbound when Mrs. Nina Mae [Petree, Moon] Schweickart and children were on the way from Sedalia to the base hospital, where she had a medical appointment.
The engine caught the back half of the car and knocked it 75 feet, throwing all three occupants out. [my twin and I were almost three months old and not present].

BIOGRAPHY: The last paragraph was what I didn't know...it says that Eddie cleared Richards-Gebaur yesterday morning on a transfer to Amarillo, Tex., and [this part I had heard] was at the family home in Sedalia when the accident occurred.
I was told that he was with me and my twin.

BIOGRAPHY: This article was in the March 15, 1959 Jefferson City, MO News and Tribune. I have printed a copy but have yet to get it to save to any file.

BIOGRAPHY: I further didn't have any records about the Richards-Gebaur Air Force Base as I had always understood it to be Whiteman Air Force Base hospital.

Nina married Edward Schweickart on 25 Nov 1955 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, USA. Edward (son of Joseph Phillip Schweickart and June Brittenham) was born on 16 Jun 1931 in Nashville, Davidson County, Tennessee, USA; died on 9 Mar 1985 in Columbia, Maury County, Tennessee, USA.
