In Memory of Howard E. Zimmerle May 7, 1926 - February 17, 2012 Obituary Howard E. Zimmerle, 85, died February 17, 2012 at Circle of Life in Springdale. He was born May 7, 1926 in Olney, Illinois to the late Walter E. and Martha (Gardner) Zimmerle. Howard attended the House of God in Rogers, enjoyed visiting nursing homes and music, especially the steel guitar. He was a government inspector for the USDA for many years. He is survived by his sons Frank Zimmerle of Illinois, Tommy Johnson of Oklahoma, Trent Johnson of Bentonville, and Darren Zimmerle of Missouri; daughters Lisa Palmer of Illinois, Sue Drymon and Martha Scheller both of Missouri. He has 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Howard is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Cope) Zimmerle, son Charles Johnson, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. The funeral will be Tuesday, February 21 at 11:00 am in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with the burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hiwasse, AR. Visitation will be Monday from 5 until 7.
