Wilene E. Jackson, 82, 45620 TR 272, Lewisville, died Dec. 6, 1997, [at 2:00 a.m.] at the Camden Clark Memorial Hospital, Parkersburg. She was born in Monroe County, Oct. 27, 1915, a daughter of the late William E. Young and Julie Viola Hodge Young.
She was a member of the Buchanan Presbyterian Church at Lewisville.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Allen and Susan Jackson, of Wilson and Kenneth Carl and Pam Jackson, of Louisville, KY.; a brother Bud Young, of Canton; two sisters, Edith Young, of Lewisville and Mabel Steele, of Woodsfield; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Jackson, Dec. 18, 1996; a son, Edward Jackson; a daughter, Lois Jackson; two sisters, Audra Harrington and Leora Weber.
Friends were received Dec. 7 at Bauer-Turner Funeral Home, Woodsfield, where services were held Dec. 8, with the Rev. Colleen Finlay officiating. Burial followed in Oaklawn Cemetery, Woodsfield.
