Obituary - Huntington, IN Herald-Press - Sunday, July 1, 1979 Sills, William R. William Ray Sills, 78, Rt. 2, Bluffton, died at 4 p.m. Friday (June 29, 1979) at Caylor-Nickel Clinic in Bluffton, following a brief illness. An interior decorator for most of his life, Mr. Sills formerly lived in Huntington County but for the last 13 years was a Wells County resident. He was a member and past master of the Masonic King Lodge 246 F&AM in Warren, a member and past worthy patron of Eastern Star Lodge 269 at Warren, and the Scottish Rite of Fort Wayne. He was born Feb. 3, 1901 in Salamonie Township to George and Della (Shadle) Sills, and his marriage was on Dec. 23, 1934 in Poneto, Ind. to Fern H. Huffman who died in 1969. Surviving is a brother, Delmer L. Sills, Montpelier. Friends may call at H. Brown and Son Funeral Home in Warren where services will be held at 2 p.m. Manday with Rev. Charles Bell officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery, Warren. Masonic Twilight services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Family links: Parents: George Oliver Sills (1872 - 1939) Della E.
