EAST LIVERPOOL - Dolores J. Beebout, 74, of Homestead Boulevard went home to be with the Lord, her husband and daughter on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, at the Kindred Care Center in Beaver, Pa.
Born in East Liverpool July 16, 1930, daughter of the late Elsworth and Blanche Hendricks Rockenhauser, she was adopted and raised by Okie and Minnie Gill of Chester W.Va. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene of East Liverpool, where she was a supervisor and Sunday School teacher. Also, she formerly had attended the LaCroft Nazarene Church, where she served on the Board and sang in the choir. She was also a member, and held many offices in, the Christian Women's Association.
Having lived most of her life in East Liverpool, she worked nine years at the Bailey Envelope Co., before retiring in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Beebout in September of 2003, and her daughter, Vickie Lynn Barnhouse, who passed away in February 2004. A son, Randy T. Beebout, and his fiancée Melissa Masters and her son, Justin Masters, survive at home in Calcutta. There are four grandchildren, Mike Barnhouse of Napa Valley, Calif., Thomas Barnhouse of Guam, Marianne Barnhouse-Leyland of Cincinnati, and Jaime Beebout of Toledo. Three great-grandchildren also survive: Marianne's daughter, Amanda and son, Jarod, and Jaime's son, Owyn. A brother, Clinton Rockenhauser, of East Liverpool, and a sister, Mrs. Hilda Ray of New Manchester, W.Va. survive as well.
Friends and family may call at the Dawson Funeral Home, Friday, March 4, 2005 from 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday, March 5, 2005 from 1 to 4 p.m.
Pastor Rob Merki of the First Church of the Nazarene will conduct a service at 4 p.m. Saturday.
Immediately following the memorial service, friends and family will gather in fellowship at the Dawson Family Center.
