  [S927] Obituary. Gilberta E. Birdie Nickels, age 79, of Canton, died Friday night in AultmanHospital after a brief illness. A life resident of Canton, she was retiredfrom the Hoover Co. Following that she worked for Sanese Services atAultman Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church.Survived by two daughters, Linda Morrow and Sally Dimmerling; two sons anddaughters-in-law, Frederick and Susan Dimmerling and Ronald C. Sr. andThirise May Dimmerling, all of Canton; a sister, Mildred Gill Curry of NorthCanton; a sister-in-law, Betty Nickels of Canton; 14 grandchildren; and fivegreat-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Frederick W. andMyrtle E. Nichels and two brothers, William and Charles Nickels. A Mass ofChristian Burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace CatholicChurch with Fr. John R. Nentwick as celebrant. Burial will be in SunsetHills Burial Park. Friends may call Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the LamiellFuneral Home.
