Erma L. Disque 1928-2002
LYONS - Erma L. Disque, 73, died May 27 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1928, at White Cloud, the daughter of Clem and Minnie McBee Cogdill. She was a 1946 graduate and valedictorian of White Cloud High School, a 1948 graduate of Highland Community College and a graduate of Kansas City General Hospital School of Medical Technology. She married Herman A. Disque on Aug. 15, 1954, at Ellsworth. A resident of Lyons since 1954, she was a retired registered medical laboratory technologist at Ellsworth Hospital and Clinic. Mrs. Disque was a member of First Presbyterian Church, church elder, Order of Eastern Star, Pleasantview EHU, former finance committee member and former choir member, all of Lyons. She was also a member of Russell Shrine Club Wives and former president of New Voice Club. Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Jeanette Disque of Stafford, and Lynne Watts and Denise Wise, both of Elizabeth, Colo.; and two grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church with the Rev. Tom Robson officiating. Burial will be at Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-7 tonight at Sillin Funeral Home in Lyons. The family will receive friends from 5-7 tonight. LYONS - Erma L Disque, 73, Lyons, died Monday, May 27, 2002.
Mrs Disque was born Erma L. Cogdill on Sept. 7, 1928, at White Cloud. She was a retired registered medical laboratory technologist at Ellsworth Hospital and Clinic.
Survivors include her husband, Herman of the home; three daughters, Jeanette Disque of Stafford and Lynne Watts and Denise Wise, both of Elizabeth, Colo.; and two grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian Church, Lyons. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the church or Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today at Sillin Funeral Home, 214 West Avenue South, Lyons 67554, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today.
