Brownsburg - Victor E. Yockey, 68, died November 28 at Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis. He was born April 28, 1930 to Clemence and Nina (McGilton) Yockey. He was preceded in death by his first wife Donna J. (Clymer) Yockey. He was married to Donna R. (Pogue) Yockey [on August 13, 1966 per gravestone]. She survives. He was a pipeline engineer at Buckeye Pipe Line, Speedway, for 37 years, retiring in 1987. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the Stafford, Ohio, Massonic Lodge. Survivors include one son, Jeff Yockey of Zanesville, Ohio; one daughter, Kathy Pierle of Pittsboro; three sisters, Vera Channel of Casselberry, Florida, Vida Mae Lori of Sun Lakes, Arizona, and Verla Faye Longfellow of Chloe, West Virginia; and four grandsons. Services were December 2 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with George Curry officiating. Burial was at Brownsburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
