  Hello, I'm trying to find a death record for my g-grandfather Mahler/Maler Yockey (born Valentine Maler Yockey, 1858, Indiana). He was the first husband of my g-grandmother, Sarah Ellen Ashcraft and left her in Gordon, NE to find work "out west; fell off a scaffold and died". He shows up in the 1900 census together with my g-grandmother, grandmother, and her two older brothers--all in Gordon, NE, but then he disappears. One of his sons, Irwin Jasper had two daughters and a son; the other son, Arthur was unmarried. Any knowledge of this family would be appreciated.
