She was a retiree of First Bank in St. Paul and active in the Quarter Century Club, an active volunteer and an associate editor for the Spokesman. She also was a member of the Third Order of St, Francis and the Kings House Retreat at Buffalo, Minn. Ursula was an ardent traveler and visited many foreign countries. She returned to the Orient several times. She was interested in crafts, but did not begin to oil paint until she retired.She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Vernon, Donald and Wilfred.Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law, Colleen (Robert) Satern, Austin; sisters-in-law, Georgia Bissen, Rose Creek, Minn., Mary Bissen, Rose Creek, Minn.; nieces and nephews.Service: A funeral mass at 2 p.m. Sunday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, with Father Virgil Duellman officiating.Visitation: There will be a 4 p.m. CCW rosary and a 7 p.m. wake service on Saturday at Mayer Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday.Interment: Calvary Cemetery.Memorials: Memorials are preferred to Lady of Good Counsel Cancer Home.
