Reetz, 47, Rt. 2, Tonganoxie, are at 2 p.m. Monday at the Rumsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Town will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Reetz died Friday, May 7th in St. Francis Hospital, Topeka. She was born, January 13, 1929 in Webster outside of Stockton, KS, the daughter of James Elmer and Lucy Ivanilla (née Pearson) Lambert. In 1935, she relocated to Lawrence with her family, where she attended school and graduated from Lawrence Memorial High School in 1946. She married Elmer F. Reetz on February 15, 1948 in Lawrence. They lived near Fall Leaf, until 1967 when they relocated to Tonganoxie. This is where she owned and operated Theora's Beauty Shop, and co-owned Ruby's Samples Dress Shop until her death.
