Lester Zwick was a car salesman.
Obituary:
Lester C. Zwick, age 74, of 6789 Luna Lanes, SW Carrollton, passed way Wednesday morning, Nov. 11 [1981] at Timken Mercy Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born in Stark County Oct. 15, 1907 to the late Sebastian and Helene Burkhart Zwick, he lived in the area all his life. He was former owner and operator of Midway Marine, retiring in 1971, and a member of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church of Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife, Zola (Moulin) of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Ed (Eleanor) Griffith of Canton, Mrs. Harold (Shirley) Beltz and Mrs. Ike (Dorothy) Mathie both of Louisville; two sons, Laverne of Louisville and Dale of Alliance; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; four brothers, William of New Franklin, O., Charles, Gerald, and James, all of Louisville, three sisters, Mrs. Lillie Cuenot of Massillon, Mrs. Esther Ruflin of Louisville, and Mrs. Mary Jaeb of Canton. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Urban and Raymond, four sisters, Loretta, Josephine, Edna and Helen, also one great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 10:30 AM in St. Louis Church in Louisville with burial in the church cemetery. Friends called at the Paquelet Funeral Home Friday.
