March 16, 1978 Zanesville, Muskingum County, Ohio (obituary) Mrs. Selma Katheryn Heil, 72, of 2320 Wayne Ridge Road died at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday at her home following a long illness. She was born March 30, 1905 in Zanesville, the daughter of Harry and Clara (Edger) Orr. She was retired bookkeeper from W. C. Townsend and Company and Jones Coal Company. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Purgatorial Society of Ladies Auxiliary of Knights of St. John and the Alter Rosary Society. Surviving are her husband, William L. who she married in 1955; three step-daughters, Mrs. William (Mary Agnes) Wilson of Norwich, Mrs. Gilbert (Rose Anne) Downey of Reynoldsburg and Mrs. John (Barbara) Baker of 1234 Lake drive; 13 step-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dadeline Buchanan of New Winsor, New York and Mrs. Dorothy Albert of 427 Ruth Street. Friends may call at Hillis Funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m. Friday. Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Father James Walter officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
