Ruby Kindelberger Fetzer passed away, on June 29, 2011, at Life Care Center of Sparta.
Mrs. Fetzer was born in Park Rapids, Minn., on July 23, 1922, the daughter of the late William and Anna Kindelberger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Herbert Nicholas Fetzer, three brothers, Verle Kindelberger, Dale Kindelberger and Dean Kindelberger; two sons-in-law, Perry Henderson and Kendell Bell.
Suvivors include two daughters, Sharon Beverley and husband Frank of Doyle; Shelia Bell of Marseilles, Ill., a son Lee Fetzer and wife Wanda of Triumph, Ill.; a sister Wilma Mille and husband Russell of Plano, Ill; 12 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Pat Kindelberger of Sandwich, Ill. and Patsy Kindelberger of Vincennes, Ind.
Mrs. Fetzer lived most of her life in Aurora, North Aurora and Sandwich, Ill. She spent the last five years of her life with her daughter and son-in-law in Doyle, Tenn.
Mrs. Fetzer was a kindergarten assistant for more than 30 years and loved every minute of it. She was an avid card player, and enjoyed playing Euchre with her many friends at Senior Express and the Senior Center.
Visitation with the family will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., on July 3, at Oaklawn Funeral Home in Sparta, with a memorial service to begin at 4 p.m. Pastor Randy Marshall from Sparta Church of the Nazarene will officiate.
The family requests no flowers.
Mrs. Fetzer will be buried in Batavia, Ill with her husband.
Oaklawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
