Schumacher, age 78, of Woodsfield, Ohio died Tuesday December 1, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born in Woodsfield Thanksgiving Day November 26, 1931, a son of the late Herbert and Stella Bing Schumacher. He was a lifelong member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church of Woodsfield. He was a veteran of the Korean War, was retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation and was a producer of Oil and Gas wells. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 brother: Elmer Schumacher and 1 sister: Rita Schumacher Singleton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Barbara Yost Schumacher of Woodsfield, 3 sons: John (Patricia) Schumacher ? Loveland, Ohio, Robert Schumacher ? Plano, Texas, Roger J. Schumacher ? Meridian, Idaho, 1 daughter: Elizabeth Beauford - Mesa, Arizona, 6 grandchildren: Courtney (Brian) Cherry ? Chesterfield, Virginia, Maggie Schumacher ?
