Raymond Oren Cale Birth: Feb. 28, 1913 Buffalo Guernsey County Ohio, USA Death: Dec. 19, 2009 Ohio, USA Raymond Oren Cale, 96 of Massillon, passed away Saturday (Dec. 19, 2009) following a brief illness. He was born Feb. 28, 1913, in Buffalo, son of the late, Oren and Iva Cale. Mr. Cale retired in 1975 from Central Can and Crown Co. of Massillon, after 30 years as maintenance supervisor. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting, gardening, boating and fishing. He took pride in his wood craftsmanship. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Lucy (Ritterbeck) Cale, on Nov. 19, 1990. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers. Survivors include many nieces and nephews of which his caregivers for the last four years were nieces, Mona Bragg of North Canton and Sue (Harold) Dobbins of Canton. Calling hours and services took place Monday at Reed Funeral Home, Canton Chapel. Final interment will be 11:30 a.m. today (Tuesday) in New Buffalo Cemetery.
