Weckbacher, 73, of 39483 Township Road 297, Lewisville, died at 3 p.m. Sunday (April 28, 1996) at Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodsfield, where he had been a patient for two days. He was born May 30, 1922, near Sycamore Valley to John and Clover Kincaid* Weckbacher. He was a retired farmer, timber cutter and milk hauler and was a Protestant by faith. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Bigley Weckbacher, on July 19, 1990; one grandson Jeffrey Lynn Weckbacher; and his parents. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Winland and her husband, Carl, of Graysville; one son, Larry Weckbacher and his wife, Ramona, of Lewisville; two brothers, Garald Weckbacher and Johnny Weckbacher, both of Rinard Mills; one sister, Arlene Cline of Marietta; four grandchildren, Kevin, Steve, Amy and Ryan Weckbacher; two stepgreat-grandchildren, Justin Koski and Bob Winland Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. Services are at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Watters Funeral Home, 37501 Ohio 78 West, Woodsfield, with Harold Kinney Jr. officiating. Burial is in Creighton Ridge Cemetery in Sycamore Valley. Friends will be received from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
