Lux, 93, of Waldron died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2010, at Major Hospital. Born July 21, 1917, in Rush County, she was the daughter of Hal Wagoner and Jessie (Cameron) Wagoner Gilpatrick. She married Victor C. Lux on Nov. 25, 1937, and he preceded her in death on April 27, 1992. Survivors include sons, Jerry J. (wife, Helen) Lux and Danny R. Lux, both of Shelbyville, and Michael V. Lux of Hamilton, Ohio; daughter, Sherry S. Harding of Shelbyville; sister, Joy (husband, Meredith) Luther of Summerfield, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, Ted Lux; and brother, Neal Wagoner. Mrs. Lux was a lifetime resident of this area. She graduated from Waldron High School and was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437 Amos Road, after a rosary recited at 3:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 4218 E. Michigan Road, with the Rev. Paul Landwerlen officiating. Burial will be in St. Vincent Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
