  [S927] Obituary. ST. JOSEPH - Louise D. Towner, 88, of St. Joseph died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday (April 24, 1993) at the Champaign County Nursing Home, Urbana. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Church, 708 W. Main St., U. The Rev. Tim Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in Patterson Cemetery, St. Joseph. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Freese Funeral Home, 302 E. Grand Ave., St. Joseph, with a wake service at 8 p.m. Mrs. Towner was born Sept. 27, 1904, in Crittenden Township, a daughter of Henry and Margaret Labert Lux. She married Charles Arthur Towner on Nov. 10, 1935, at Pesotum. He died Aug. 1, 1982. Aurvivors include a daughter, Bonnie Busboom of St. Joseph; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Henry Lux of Thomasboro. She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters. Mrs. Towner was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Urbana. Memorial contribuion may be made to St. Patrick's Church, the Champaign County Nursing Home Auxiliary or the Prince of Peace Sunday School Building Fund.
