Birth: Feb. 7, 1926 Wichita Falls Wichita County Texas, USA Death: Jan. 18, 2015 Whitney Hill County Texas, USA Lorina Rose Chaffin Reed, 88, passed away Sunday evening Jan. 18th, 2015 at her home in Whitney, after a long illness. She was born in Wichita Falls on Feb. 7th, 1926 and was a lifelong Texan. Funeral Service: 2:00pm Thursday at Moore Funeral Home Chapel. Burial: Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 2-4:00pm Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home. Lorina was a long time resident of Irving before moving to Whitney with a wonderful man she met at church named Holland. She was very active in her church along with doing volunteer work at nursing homes. She was a world traveler, but while at home she was an expert seamstress, quilter, and cook but found time to be a playful and wonderful grandmother with an inexhaustible imagination. Her love for the Lord and her family was obvious in every aspect of her life. Lorina was preceded in death by her first husband, L.S. Chaffin and a great - granddaughter, Mattilynn Grace Chaffin. She is survived by: Husband, Holland Reed; Sons and Daughter in Laws: Lee Chaffin Jr. (Linda), Lawrence Chaffin (Paula), Lloyd Chaffin (Debbie); Step Daughter and Son in Law: Robbyn Payne (Donnie); Grand Children: Randi Chaffin, Vikki Chaffin, Matt Chaffin, Spencer Chaffin, Olevia Chaffin; Four Great Grandsons: Nikolas, Noland, Levi and Hunter.
