  [S927] Obituary. Lorin Frayne Markley LORIN FRAYNE MARKLEY PALACIOS - Lorin Frayne Markley, 79, of Palacios, died Aug. 7, 2009 in Port Lavaca. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Mr. Markley was born June 30, 1930 in Ashland, Ohio to Frayne and Marie (Stempirt) Markley. He was retired from Budd Company in Ashland, Ohio. He and his wife, Arlene, retired to Cape Carancahua, Texas in 1997. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include wife, Arlene; son, Steve Markley and wife, Suzanna; daughter, Cynthia Parten and husband, Richard; step-sons, David Thomas, Randall Thomas and wife, Jackie; sister, Phyllis Miller; good fishing buddy, Andy Baker; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Port Lavaca Nursing Home and Hospice of South Texas for the care given to Mr. Markley during his illness. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Memory Gardens ~ arranging director, Patsy Conley.
