Burial was at Immanuel Cemetery. He died Monday, August 20 at Dakota Hospital (Fargo N.D.) Kermit Leppert, son of Gustave and Clara (Henry) Leppert was born May 12, 1913 in Berlin, ND where he drew up and attended school. He was united in marriage to O'Tillie Bender June 28, 1939 in LaMoure. He worked as bridge builder for Northern Pacific Railroad before returning to the Berlin area, where he did some carpenter work and was employed by the local school district for sixteen years. He retired in 1988 due to health reasons. He is survived by his wife, O'Tillie; three sons, Gregory, Lacey, Washington; Kenneth, Rogers City, Michigan; and Robert, Fargo; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Lloyd, who died on the same date, August 20, 1954. Casket bearers were John Cisinski, Dennis Just, William Salzsieder, Blaine Horsager, William Kosse, and Calen Leppert. Sue Buck served as organist for the funeral and Deb Kindelspire and Loretta Rasmusson were soloists. Dahlstrom Funeral Home in LaMoure was in charge of the arrangements.
