Funeral services were Feb. 27 at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Truro. The Rev. Richard Harbart of Johnston officiated the services with burial at the Young cemetery in Truro. She was born April 21, 1929 in Knoxville to Ted M. and Buena (Brees) Roland. She married Walter G. Brant Sr. on Aug. 22, 1948 in Truro. She was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Truro. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law; and her grandparents. Surviving relatives include her husband; her parents; two daughters, Carol Ann Bentler and husband Don of Des Moines, and Barbara Jean Finley and husband Raymond of Truro; two sons, Walter "Bud" Brant and wife Frances of Osceola, and Brian D. Brant and wife Becky of Osceola; one sister, Joan Mease and husband John of Truro; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
