Newbanks, 61, of Mineral Wells, WV died Saturday August 13, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Harry A. and Mary (Houck) Newbanks. He was a self employed contractor and a member of Calvary Memorial Church. He is survived by his wife Mimi Newbanks; six children Chris Newbanks (Paula) of Coxsackie, NY, Zack Villers (Diana) of Columbus, OH, Brian Newbanks (Stephanie) of Williamstown, WV, Nicole Cox (Jeff) of Parkersburg, Philip Newbanks (Amy) of Vienna, WV, and Allys Myers (Adam) of Parkersburg; fourteen grandchildren; a sister Ruth Ann Grimm of Belpre; and a brother Joe Newbanks of Mineral Wells, WV. Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor Rob Collins officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Burial of cremated remains will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Camden Clark Foundation, Community Comprehensive Cancer Center, 800 Garfield Ave # 180 Parkersburg, WV 26101.
