Imelda Romaine Gerst [Obituary] [Funeral/Service] [Condolences] Imelda Romaine Gerst, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, August, 2nd 2006 at Mount Carmel West Hospital. She is preceded in death by parents Roland and Lillian (Bollinger) Lasure, son Jeffrey Michael, four brothers and three sisters. Survived by husband of 55 years Cletus, children Janice, Janine(Rick) Doran, Jerry(Debbie), Joe(Darin),Julie,Joyce(David) Kitsmiller and Jim (Stacey), also surviving her are sister Kathleen Davis of Florida, sisters in law and brothers in law, Dee and Jack Wilcox, Marilyn and Bill Knight, Eileen and Bob Strickler, Jeanette and Chuck Allton. Romaine has 11 grandchildren Brandon, Amanda, Kyle, Kevin, Vince, Sam, Brianne, Bailey, David, Andrew and Patrick, great-grandchildren, Blake and Brooklyn, many nieces and nephews. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella in Zanesville. Romaine will be remembered for her generosity and kindness to others, bingo evenings out with good friend Marie, days at the pool with Lynne and her homemade cookies as well as taking care of her grandchildren. Funeral Mass was held, SATURDAY, August 5th, 2006. Private inurnment at a later date.
