Ilean L. Bissler, age 85, of Louisville, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Friday, August 20, 2004, in Aultman Hospital following an extended illness. Ilean was born November 18, 1918, in Canton, to the late Jesse and Nancy (Wiant) Harmon. She was a former employee of the Adams Camera Shop and an administrative secretary for the Stark County Parks District. Ilean enjoyed the honor of having a park pavilion named in her memory at Faircrest Park. She was a member of the Stark County Sheriff's Reserve for over 25 years. Ilean was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Louisville. Ilean is survived by two daughters, Connie (Bernard) Kieffer of Louisville and Joann (Keith) Kuemerle of Canton; a sister, Pauline; five grandchildren, Scott, Steven and Susanne Kieffer, Jennifer Lowery and Matthew Kuemerle; and four great-grandchildren, Andrew, Meghan, Joshua and Jadan. She is preceded in death by her husband, William S. Bissler, who passed away in 1981, two sisters, Dorothy Babik and Patricia Smith, a brother Edwin Harmon and a grandson, Christopher Kuemerle.
