Gustv W. was born on Friday September 16, 1904 to Daniel and Emilie Schenkenberger Lang in Anamoose, McHenry Co, North Dakota.
Gus was reared on the farm near New Germantown, and attended country schools in that area.
Gus married Albena Schlag on Saturday October 30, 1932, in Anamoose, McHenry Co, North Dakota.
They lived on the farm in Lincoln Valley area of Sheridan Co. for 48 years, until moving into Minot in 1970.
Gus was employed by Milton Rolle and Brokers 12 Realty as a service and maintenance man for 18 years in Minot.
Gus was a carpenter for Anderson Home Builders in Minot.
Gus was a member of the Lincoln Valley Baptist Church and served as treasure for 19 years, and was a member of the community band.
Gus passed away on Thursday January 17, 1971 in Minot, Ward Co, North Dakota.
Gus leaves behind his loving wife Albena Schlag Lang,
son Myron of Minot, daughters: Jeanette Lang of Minneapolis, Marlys Nuttman of Salinas, Ca. Arvadell Zimmerman of Minot. 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Lydia Kessler and Alvina Weltz both of Harvey, North Dakota and brother Johnnie Lang of Valley City
