SCOTT, Gertrude Vaughn Naumann, 75, of Triadelphia, passed away on Friday, September 3, 2004, in the Bishop Joseph H. Hodges Continuous Care Center, Wheeling. She was born January 27, 1929, in Triadelphia, WV, a daughter of the late Curtis B. and Marie Schaub Naumann. Mrs. Scott was a member of the Triadelphia United Methodist Church. She was a presser and clerk at the Glo-Tone Cleaners in Elm Grove for 42 years; and she loved to play bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Scott, Sr. in 1985; two brothers, Charles C. and John E. Naumann; and a sister, Melva Miner. Surviving are a daughter, Janice Rhodes of Triadelphia; two sons, John "Rusty" Scott, Jr. of Triadelphia; and Bruce Scott and his wife, Arsenia of Japan; five sisters, Rose Anna Miller and her husband, William of Wheeling; Darlene Laudermilt of Mason, WV; Nancy Scott and her husband, Delany of Valley Grove; Shirley Walt and her husband, John of Dallas, WV; and Patty Dague and her husband, Edward of Triadelphia; and five grandchildren. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2004 at the Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Elm Grove, Wheeling. There will be no visitation on Wednesday. Friends will be received again Thursday, September 9, 2004, from 12 noon until time of services at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Gary Rankin officiating. Interment in Park View Memorial Gardens, Wheeling. In leiu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Triadelphia United Methodist Church, Box 62, Triadelphia, WV 26059.
