Mayberry, 80, 63630 Mayberry Lane, Barnesville, died Tuesday, September 14, 1999 at the Wheeling Hospital. He was born July 28, 1919, in Barnesville, the son of the late Leonard and Ella Fisher Mayberry. A member of the Assumption Church of Barnesville, he was also a member of the Barnesville Elks 1699 and a retired park manager of the Barkcamp State Park. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Mayberry; and infant sister, Mary Ellen Mayberry. Surviving are his wife, Clara Burkhart Mayberry; three sons, Jerry and Joe, both of Belmont and Don of Barnesville; four daughters, Mrs. Merle (Shirley) Behr of Alden, Minn., Carol Blackenship, Mrs. Tim (Debbie) Porter and Pam Mayberry all of Barnesville; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Kelly-Kemp-Braido Funeral Home, Betheda, Thursday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Assumption Catholic Church, Barnesville, with the Rev. Virgil Reischman officiating. Burial follows in Assumption Cemetery, Barnesville. Vigil services will be held Thursday at 8:45 p.m.in the funeral home.
