Faye Friesz, 54, West Fargo, N.D., died Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, N.D.
Faye Marie Otto was born Feb. 18, 1955, at Harvey, N.D., the daughter of Walter and Margaret (Koenig) Otto. She grew up on the family farm near Robinson, N.D. The family moved to Bowdon, N.D., where she attended high school. She married Dennis Schwartz and they lived at Tuttle, N.D., before moving to Fargo. She married Dennis Friesz on June 17, 1998, in Fargo. They lived in West Fargo. She worked various jobs in the area. She enjoyed playing Bingo, reading, crocheting, crafts and her cats.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Benji (Brianna) Schwartz, Leonard, N.D.; her mother and stepfather, Margaret (Richard) Otto, Bowdon; two brothers, Terry, Fargo, and Duane (Pat), Beulah, N.D.; and three sisters, Carol (Ken) Roeker, Jamestown, Sandy (Kevin) Kelly, Bismarck, N.D., and Valerie (Steve) Tripp, Pettibone, N.D.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Wade and Chamey Schwartz; her father; a sister, Joyce; and a brother-in-law, Kenneth Ensz.
Memorial service: 1 p.m. Monday, West Funeral Home Chapel, West Fargo.
Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, West Funeral Home, West Fargo.
Burial: Tuttle Cemetery, Tuttle.
