- BIOGRAPHY: DIMMICK Roy Wilson "Pee-Wee" Age 77 of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Friday, July 9, 2004. Roy was born on July 29, 1926 in Montour Falls, NY, the son of the late Wilson and Mae Dimmick. He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Sue Gauck. His first wife, Marcella Daskum Dimmick, also predeceased him. Roy is survived by his wife, Anne Callahan Keeton Dimmick; and his stepchildren, Joseph Keeton of Elmira, NY, Susan (Larry) Miller of West Palm Beach, FL with son, Jason James Keeton of Rock Stream, NY, John (Cherith) Keeton of Geneva, NY with children, Forrest, Maeve and Marshall, Lt. Col Lisa Jacques (Jerry) of Manassas, VA, and Msgt. Jerry (Kristina) Keeton of Biloxi, MS with children, Morgan, Eva and Grace. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne (Margaret) Dimmick of Montour Falls, NY; and brother-in-law, Eugene Gauck of Montour Falls, NY; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was retired from Shepard Niles Corp of Montour Falls, NY, and was a veteran of the Korean War. Roy was a member of the Mechanics Club, Horseheads Elks, the Moose and the Foreman's Club of Shepard Niles. Roy loved to fish, hunt, go bowling, and was a most talented woodworker. He was also a member of the Montour Falls United Methodist Church. All who know him will miss his thoughtfulness and desire to help others. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Memorial service will be held there following visitation at 7 p.m. Memorials should be made to the Food Banks of the Southern Tier, 945 County Route 64, Elmira, NY 14903-9701.
