Birth: May 1, 1931 Ashley McIntosh County North Dakota, USA Death: Oct. 25, 2013 Bismarck Burleigh County North Dakota, USA Estella died October 25, 2013 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in Bismarck, ND. Estella (Neuhardt) Weber was born May 1, 1931 in Ashley, ND to Valentine and Hanna (Bendewald) Neuhardt. She grew up in the Ashley area and attended Ashley schools graduating in 1949. While attending high school, she worked in the clothing department at Bertsch's Fairway Store and continued following her graduation, and up until her marriage; after which she worked in retail in Aberdeen, SD. Estella attended and was taught in the E.U.B. (Evangelical United Brethren) church now known as the Emmanuel Methodist Church. Upon her marriage to Calvin, she then attended Salem Reformed Church where she was involved in the Ladies Aid and church choir. She and Calvin dated in high school having met at the local soda shop, and married July 14, 1953 two weeks after Calvin returned from serving his country in Korea. After they were married, they moved to Aberdeen, SD and then Edgeley, ND for Calvin's work as a mechanic. They returned to Ashley in 1955 to be near Estella's family up until her husband's death in March of 2013. Estella spent the last seven months of her life in Bismarck at the Missouri Slope Lutheran Home to be near her youngest son, Stewart and his wife Nina. Estella was a very devoted wife to her husband, additionally serving as his bookkeeper, an extraordinary mother and homemaker to her three sons, and a very loyal daughter to her parents. These roles brought her the greatest joy and satisfaction, of into which she poured her entire self. She enjoyed gardening (she loved her Miracle-Gro) with her husband, baking for her family and reading. Estella leaves to mourn her three sons; Steven (Cheryl), Stanley (Alice), and Stewart (Nina); eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
