Eric L. Mast
Aug. 12, 1949 - June 30, 2011
INDIANAPOLIS, IN - Eric L. Mast, 61, residing in Indianapolis and born in Bremen, passed away June 30, 2011 at his home after a prolonged illness. He was born August 12, 1949 to Lowell & Edwena (nee Keyser) Mast whom both precede him in death.
His family are long term residents of Bremen. Eric graduated from Butler University, Cum Laude, with a degree in Chemistry in 1971. He then went on to the I.U School of Medicine where he graduated in 1977. After his schooling Eric joined the United Stated Air Force Medical Core from 1978 till 1982. After serving his country Eric went on to be an Emergency Room physician in Northern Indiana for ten years. In 1992 he opened the Michiana Occupational Health Center in South Bend and work there as owner and physician till 2000. After leaving South Bend Erica worked as an urgent care physician in central Indiana till 2009. Eric enjoyed as hobbies being a handyman and landscaping which he continued to so despite his ill health.
Eric is survived by his daughters, Jennifer L. (nee Mast) Sellers and Elizabeth "Beth" A. Mast, Son, Matthew "Matt" L. Mast, grandson, Luke A. Sellers and brother Jeffery B. Mast.
Services will be September 3rd at 11 a.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Indianapolis (UUI). There will also be public graveside services at Bremen Municipal Cemetery on September 4th at 1 p.m. Internment will be at Bremen Municipal Cemetery.
