Obituary from the Louisville Herald, page 1, 20 Feb 1941::
ALLIANCE - Mrs. Emma Hohman, 38, of RD 1, Alliance,
died Monday in the home following an illness of two weeks. Born in
Noble county, she was a resident here and a member of St. Joseph?s
Church at Maximo.
Surviving are her husband, George, a daughter, Lucille; two
sons, Marvin and Norman, all of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Loretta
Schindler and Mrs. Mary Pettit of Canton, Mrs. Lavina Schott of
Noble County, and a brother, Clem Schafer.
Services were held Thursday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph?s
Church in charge of Rev. Fr. McMahon. Burial in Maximo cemetery.
