Ferner and Barbara Fackler Ferner. She was born 31 December 1867, in Rochester, New York. She had two brothers, Leonard, Jr. and Frederick Nicolaus and one sister, Laura Louise. On 11 December 1894, Elisabeth married George M. Ropelt, son of John J. and Maria Reis Ropelt in Rochester. George and his family were piano manufacturers. Sadly, Elisabeth died on 24 November 1897, just three weeks short of her third wedding anniversary. Cause of her death was given as puerperral eclampsia. On 26 November 1897, Elisabeth was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, a grave close to her parents. Note: George Ropelt is buried in Riverside Cemetery, in Rochester.)
