Obituary: Edith Olevia Plesia of Westerville, OH, died Thursday, April 1, 2004. Born on December 4, 1906 in Woodsfield, OH, the daughter of the late Michael and Olevia Wahl Burkhart. Edith was a graduate of Woodsfield High School, Class of 1924 and Bliss Business College in Columbus, OH. She was a legal secretary at the Henny and Henny Law Firm, a secretary at The Ohio State University Museum and co-owner of Tri-Co Tractor Sales. On June 16, 1951 she married John Plesia who survives her with Edith?s brother, John Burkhart; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Burkhard, Francis Burkhardt and Michael Burkhart. Edith was a loving and generous person. Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home , 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday 4-7 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Fr. Mike Nimocks officiating. Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Miltonsburg, OH Monday at 11 a.m., Fr. Tom Hamm and Fr. David Gaydosik, officiating, where visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment St. John?s Cemetery, Miltonsburg, OH. The family prefers contributions to St. Sylves-ter?s Elementary School, 119 Wayne Street, Woodsfield, OH 43793.
