She was a legal secretary at the Henny and Henny Law Firm, a secretary at The Ohio State University Museum and co-owner of Tri-Co Tractor Sales. On June 16, 1951 she married John Plesia who survives her with Edith?s brother, John Burkhart; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by brothers, Arthur Burkhard, Francis Burkhardt and Michael Burkhart. Edith was a loving and generous person. Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home , 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday 4-7 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Fr. Mike Nimocks officiating.
