Dale attended Lowell High School and then served his country during WWII in the US Army. He was a self employed home builder, until he retired in 1989. Dale was a Member of the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption, where he enjoyed helping as an usher, the American Legion Post 64 and the Washington County Antique Tractor Association. He loved bird watching, watching golf on TV and his passion was building things, as well as restoring antique tractors and farm equipment.
Dale is survived by his wife, Virginia M. Cooper Huck, whom he married on April 14, 1948, three children, Linda Gonya of Pickerington, Ohio, Randy Huck (Carla) of Marietta and Tim Huck of Lowell, four grandchildren, James M. and Jacquelyn Gonya, and Jami and Chelsea Huck.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Harold, Albert Jr., and Carol Huck and one sister, Hilda Arnold.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at the Basilica of St. Mary of the Assumption in Marietta. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Lowell.

Dale Jacob Huck, 88, of Marietta, died Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Heartland of Marietta. He was born on March 15, 1927 in Lowell, to Albert J. and Helen M. Tornes Huck.
