Dale Dennis ?Rude Dog? Wagner, 44, of Miller, died Wednesday, January 2nd as the result of an avalanche while snowmobiling in Laramie Wyoming. Visitation was at the St. Lawrence Community Church on Monday, January 7th from 4:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service. Funeral service was Tuesday, January 8th at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Lawrence Church with Rev. Brian Jones and John Rasko officiating. Burial was at the G.A.R. Cemetery in Miller. Rembold Funeral Home of St. Lawrence was entrusted with Dale's arrangements.
Dale Dennis Wagner was born June 13, 1963 at Huron, SD to Clarence and Mable (Haeffner) Wagner. He attended school in St. Lawrence and Miller graduating from Miller High School in 1981. Dale attended Lake-Area Vo-Tech receiving a degree in Building Trades graduating in 1983. After graduation he worked in Rapid City for a short time before returning to the family farm.
On October 17, 1992 he married Roberta ?Bobi? Bussell in Miller, SD. Dale farmed with his family all over Hand County until the time of his death.
Dale enjoyed and lived life to the fullest. His greatest love was for his family. Dale?s obvious love of his life shows thru his three beautiful children, Lyndsay Kae, Rhett Lynn, and Camrynn Clare. His one and only love was Bobi, his wife of 15 short years.
Working on the family farm everyday was one of the simple pleasures Dale enjoyed. His snowmobiling and racing friends have such wonderful life long memories.
Survivors include his wife Bobi and his three children Lyndsay Kae, Rhett Lynn, and Camrynn Clare all of Miller; parents, Clarence and Mable Wagner of Miller; brothers and sister, Rod (Mary) Wagner of Miller, Lynette (Bob) Moser of Rapid City, Gary (Julie) Wagner of Miller; mother and father in law Dale and Kae Bussell of Tucson, AZ; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and many special friends; he is also survived by his dog Peaches.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Robert and Hulda Wagner and Jake and Carrie Haeffner.
