BURKHART: LEWISVILLE - Constantine Burkhart, 87, of 30821 Township 61, Lewisville, died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday (June 26, 2002) at the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Woodsfield. She was born Dec. 16, 1914, near Burkhart, Ohio, to Aloysius and Cecilia Schwallie Burkhart. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church near Lewisville. She is survived by two sisters, Sister Joanna Burkhart of Cincinnati and Mrs. Paul (Stella) Crum of Woodsfield; two brothers, Leander Burkhart and Cyril Burkhart and his wife, Rosemary, all of Lewisville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman J. Burkhart; her parents; and two brothers, Lucian Burkhart and Herman J. Burkhart. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church near Lewisville with the Rev. David Gaydosik as celebrant. Burial is in Chapel Hill Cemetery near Lewisville. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Watters Funeral Home in Woodsfield. Vigil services are at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
