Mother of Nancy Louise Lane. Grandmother of Pamela & Melissa Kegresse. Born at the home of her grandmother, Theresa Schwartz Hercher, she was the oldest of four children. Her parents moved to Reno, Ohio, in 1915 where she remained a resident for over 70 years. She attended Sand Hill School and was a member of the Reno Christian Church. On June 20, 1936, she and Clifford Lane were married in St. Marys, W.Va. A stay-at-home mom, she enjoyed sewing and animals, and in her later years, she was a dedicated volunteer at the Ohio Valley Humane Society. Died at age 86. Survivors include great granddaughters in North Carolina and a great grandson, Darren Scott Edwards, in Colorado.
