He was a native of New Orleans and a long time resident of Waggaman. Mr. Wegmann served in the U. S. Army during W. W. II. He retired from Whitney National Bank as Vice President and was a member of the Catholic Knights of America Branch 416. Beloved husband of Lillian Kerth Wegmann. Loving father of Christopher Paul Wegmann (Jennifer), Craig Philip Wegmann (Tina) and Marguerite Wegmann Marrero (Richard). Brother-in-law of Inez Kerth. Son of the late Peter Paul Wegmann, Sr. and Elizabeth Bonhage Wegmann. Brother of May Burgdorf, Alvin J. Wegmann, and the late Henrietta Ecuyer, Helen Fath, Clair L'Hoste, Robert P. Wegmann, Bernadine Proctor and Peter P. Wegmann, Jr. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
