He got work on a farm near Royal Heights, Illinois. While working there, he met and married the hired girl, Elizabeth Smith, who had immigrated from England in 1844 and worked at the same farm.Henry Nevenner and Elizabeth Smith married in 1858 and had five children, all born in Illinois. Henry Nevenner died in 1873 and is buried at St. Philip Cemetery, East St. Louis, Illinois.Children: Casper Henry, Caroline, Mary, John, and Edward.I descend from Casper Henry, born February 27, 1859 in Caseyville and died in 1945. Casper had five children by his wife, Isabella Morton, who was born in Belleville, Illinois in 1865 and who died in 1893 in Illinois.
